10 Christian films released in 2020

10. “Farmer and the Belle” 

The Christmas film “The Farmer and The Belle: Saving Santaland” was released on DVD on Nov. 17 and was inspired by a true story that illustrates the beauty of embracing one’s identity in God and how that leads to the true pathway to love.

“The Farmer and The Belle” stars Jenn Gotzon (“Frost/Nixon”), Jim E. Chandler (“Drop Dead Diva”), and John Schneider. Others joining them on screen are Corbin Bernsen, radio personality Delilah, singer Beckah Shae, Henry Cho and others.

“When a New York City model spends the holidays in a small town, she falls in love with her childhood pen pal, a pig farmer, and helps save his hometown’s Santaland,” the film's synopsis says. 

The Wes Llewellyn-directed movie wishes to inspire viewers to “discover inner beauty through a biblical pathway.”
